Your contribution of any amount will cover costs such as exhibition design development, curatorial fees, interpretive and educational materials for new audiences, the exhibition catalog, and many other related costs.

Thank you for your commitment to truth-telling. The process begins with your inquiry. Please provide a quality photo of the ephemera and a short description of your family’s connection to it and why you would like to commission an artwork. Exhibition Curator Bridget Cooks will determine the suitability of the ephemera for REPOSSESSIONS. If your ephemera is selected, Exhibition Founder Sarah Eisner will then outline the contracting and payment process. The cost to contribute ephemera and commission a work is $10,000., which covers the $5,000 artist fee and $5,000 toward exhibition costs.

Once your ephemera is approved for REPOSSESSIONS, your donation contract is signed and your payment is received, the Exhibition Curator will begin the search for an artist to transform the ephemera. The selected artist will sign a contract and begin work on the project.
